The Calgary Herald reports that X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is headed back to Montreal for scheduled reshoots and pickup shots in the next few weeks. Cast and crew will film additional and reworked scenes before the end of this year; principal photography originally took place April through August.
“A couple of weeks is a big reshoot,” said Quebec film commissioner Hans Fraikin, who was in L.A. meeting with Fox execs for the American Film Market, drumming up business for Montreal. When asked if it spelled trouble for the second-most expensive film ever produced at 20th Century Fox, Fraikin said “Not at all. It happens all the time, especially with big pictures.”

I was expecting this. I hope this movie will be longer than any previous x-films and we’ll see every charecters have their moment.
I would love a 165 minute-long DOFP, but I can deal with at least X2’s running time at 134 minutes. Anything less and I want a two-parter! 🙂

Yes, it’s important that each character gets their moment. If the don’t, then why be there in the first place? I recall Bryan Singer saying each character had their purpose in the film (143 minutes).
or even some better scenes then the short ‘future’ cast like for instance maybe finally seeing an ice slide, a better fastball special, …
