SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN X-MEN DOFP!
Newcomer, Brendan Pedder posted a photo of himself with director Bryan Singer on the set of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. Pedder appears in the end credits stinger as a young, gray-skinned En Sabah Nu aka Apocalypse building a Pyramid, possibly his own fortress, in ancient Egypt, while followers chant his name beneath his feet. As the camera pans to reveal his face, we see the Four Horsemen watching in the background.
Colldier spoke with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE writer and producer Simon Kinberg who spoke about the scene and the process that went into making it come to life.
“Once we sort of committed to [Apocalypse] being the sequel that we were going to pursue, we felt like the tag was an opportunity to start to set that up or just tease that for audiences. We went through a lot of ideas for what that scene could be, and some of them were reported erroneously online, some of them were pretty close to the way people reported them online, but we landed on what the final version was toward the end of production. So we didn’t have time in our initial round of photography to film it, we filmed it when we went back up to Montreal after principal photography, with obviously an entirely different cast, but with our crew.”
Kinberg says the tease is of Apocalypse’s origin and that it doesn’t necessarily mean it will play appear in the actual film. A new actor will also play the role in the next film, as he will look much older in the planned 80’s timeline.
Put Mr. Sinister in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). Look at Apocalypse’s Profile within this website here: https://marvel.wikia.com/Marvel_Encyclopedia_Vol_1_X-Men. Mister Sinister has plenty to do with Apocalypse’s background history according to Comic Books. Not only that. He’s another all-time villain of the X-Men who fans have been wanting to see on the big screen now forever.
Mr Sinister definitely needs to happen and Apocalypse would be the best way of introducing him for sure!
I hope that they don’t find a way to kill Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). The reason why is because he is immortal and has always been the most powerful mutant on the planet in the comic books. Please tell me that they’re not going to make him look like a wimp in the Movie with their own personal re-interpretation of his Character. It will really disappoint me if they do. I always thought that Apocalypse was a really cool, sweet villain and I’d hate to see the Movie ruin his Character like that. I’m already disappointed about Days of Future past.
I hope they get Tony Todd to play the part of Apocalypse
They should have a younger Actor play a younger version of Apocalypse (like that guy right there who played him in the after-credits scene) and they need an older actor to play an older version of Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse. I think that either Derek Mears or Ken Kirzinger should play the older version of Apocalypse. They should stick to the younger guy to play him in his younger years (that we saw in the after-credits scene).
