In its fourth weekend at the domestic box office, Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST landed at number six with $9.8 million (35% drop). The film has earned a total of $206.2 million thus far, making it the first film from 20th Century Fox to pass the $200 million milestone since “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel” dropped in January 2010. Analysts predict a $220 million finish when all is said and done.

Passing “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” in domestic numbers, the seventh entry in the successful X-Men film franchise becomes the highest-grossing movie of this Summer…for now, at least!

Foreign markets have earned the film an impressive $456 million so far, which actually pushes it past “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” numbers ($454 million) in those territories.

Worldwide the mutants have made $662 million, edging closer to its $700 million milestone.
