Fans were delighted to see Kelsey Grammer return to the role of Beast for a brief cameo in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The actor, who previously played the character in 2006’s THE LAST STAND, told Collider how he returned to the world of X-Men and what his hopes are for the future.
“Actually I called Bryan, he says. “I bumped into Hugh Jackman and he said, ‘Oh you’re gonna be in another X-Men, mate!’ and I said, ‘No I’m not, I don’t know anything about it.’ So I made a couple of inquiries, got a hold of the script, found out that it’s primarily dealing with the past and that timeline I don’t have a place in, but I saw that at the end there was this coda where he made an appearance. I said, ‘Listen, I really wanna be involved,’ so Bryan arranged for it and I had a lovely time.”
But will this be the last we see of Grammer in the blue makeup and fur? “I hope to do another,” he continues. “I hope they find some way to come up with a new story that involves Beast in my timeline.”
So do we!

This young woman has to be the Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse! Elyse Levesaue not only seems to be the right age but she resembles the character and look of Jean in every possible way! She´s fairly unknown, yet fresh faced and has an amazing charisma and screen presence…enchanting I would say!
Someone needs to call up the casting director for the next film! She has to be Jean…!

The ‘original’ X-Men are going to be teenagers in Apocalypse. She’s too old, I’m afraid…
She is pretty, but she wouldn’t fit as a younger version of Famke Janssen.
Kelsey Grammer’s Beast was amazing! No matter how bad X3 was, he was one of the best casting choices of the whole franchise. He got nice screen time, relevance for the story, he make up was pretty good to.
The single scene were Kelsey Grammer walks through Wolverine felt more like the Beast from the comics than anything that Hoult did. I get that he is the younger version, a bit more immature and insecure, but his participation on DOFP was terribly weak, and the old Beast will always be cooler anyway.
My best of hope that at the end of X-Men: Apocalypse, we will see the original X-men characters.. Jean, Storm, Beast, Cyclops and Mystique together with Professor X and Magneto.
