With the entire X-MEN film franchise earning $3 billion in global ticket sales and DAYS OF FUTURE PAST surpassing its $700 million box office milestone, fans and moviegoers have let it be known that there’s still great interest in seeing the original cast play their respective mutant roles.
Wouldn’t it be great to have an entire film devoted to the original trilogy cast once more? The 2016 film, X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, promises to be epic with the talented “First Class” cast being the primary focus. While there is a chance of appearances from mutants in the future timeline, it’s still not taking full advantage of the cast that started this franchise 14 years ago.
@X4X5Campaign and @FamkeFans have joined forces to start a new campaign, asking 20th Century Fox, Lauren Shuler Donner, Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg to bring back the originals in their own sequel and make a big announcement at Comic Con in July.
YOU can help by spreading the word! Tweet #XMenOriginalCastSequelSDCC2014 to @20thCenturyFox, @BryanSinger, @ShuDonner and @Kinberg and tell them that you want to see another film with Hugh, Patrick, Ian, Halle, Famke, James, Anna, Ellen, Shawn, Kelsey, Rebecca, Alan, Daniel and the rest!

“I would love to do another X-Men. I loved playing Beast! I call him the blue guy and it was just a joy for me to be involved in that franchise.” – Kelsey Grammer
“If I could go back and put on the glasses and suit again where we do a film to learn more about the character, that’s the one I would pick. He’s ripe for that.” – James Marsden
“It would be very surreal. I would be honored to be a part of any of these X-MEN movies. It would be great.” – Famke Janssen
“It was funny that film because I really like it and everyone really responded to Nightcrawler and enough time has elapsed that I would like to go back to it.” – Alan Cumming
“I would love to come back and do more. There might be something else. A little bird has whispered that there might be something X-Men related.” – Patrick Stewart
“It’s a character that I love and fans really love the whole series, they really love Storm, and it’s like family. It’s fun to get back together with Hugh and everybody…it’s good fun.” – Halle Berry
BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL CAST FOR X-MEN 5!
THE SERIES HAD THEIR BIGGEST SUCCESS WITH X1/X2/X3 AND NOW X4: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST!
MAKE IT HAPPEN 20TH CENTURY FOX, BAD HAT HARRY, DONNERS COMPANY AND TSG ENTERTAINMENT!
WE WANT TO SEE THE ORIGINAL CAST BACK!
HUGH, HALLE, JAMES, FAMKE, ANNA, SHAWN, DANIEL, ELLEN, KELSEY, PATRICK!
X3 was ABSOLUTELY an EMBARRASSMENT! I give it VERY little credit for expanding Storm’s powers and leadership, but at the end X3 just didn’t come together. In addition, X3 totally messed up all the Brotherhood, except Magneto/Mystique. There was really no mutant differences and their mutant abilities were so amateur.

Can we ask Blake Lively to be the next Rogue? She has sexy body appeal and personality to match the character.
Thanks!
And by the way I started my own campaign to show my support to this campaign!
My fellow X-Men and OT lovers: please follow my campaign: https://twitter.com/xmen5movie2018
I agree! Storm, Cycolops, Jean, Prof. X need BETTER MAJOR comeback! X1 didn’t show true nature of power and leadership for them. X2 tried but wasn’t enough and X3 totally missed mark, especially with Storm.
At least an Epilogue movie at the events after The Wolverine right? Like how that Sentinel project ended to a dystopian future.. So at least we can see 100% of the original cast with the cast of The Wolverine..
or X-men 4, with new mutants or the squadrons.. let Rogue, Iceman, Storm show their real power.. Bring Exodus or Mr. Sinister..
It crossed the 700 million milestone on Tuesday actually!!! It will pass Amazing Spiderman 2 and Captain Amercia The Winter Soldier this weekend to become the most successful CBM (and for now even movie! ) in 2014!!!
I love the idea of a new X-Men film featuring the original cast; however, just because fans start an online movement doesn’t mean the studio will suddenly decide to promise us a new film at Comic Con next month. It would take several behind-closed-doors discussions, months in advanced probably, before a film like that could be presented and approved by Fox. If there is going to be another, the discussions have probably already been had and a decision has probably already been made, regardless of this movement or not.
I don’t see them making a one-month turnaround to appease us.
They won’t be announcing it so early like this year because it would just steal thunder of X-Men: Apocalypse and Wolverine 3.
But online movement like this is great, simply because its spreading the word out there that people want to see another movie with the original cast.
Well in my opinion there is still two upcoming x-men movies. X-men: Apocalypse and The Wolverine 2, and im pretty sure they cant do it in wolverine films because its about Wolverine. Maybe at some point they can make two parts of X-men: Apocalypse. for first class mutants who fight the humanoid en sabah nur and for the original cast who fight the robotic one..
Here’s what I think
2015 Comic-Con: XMen Apocalypse cast
2016 Comic-Con: Wolverine 3 cast
2017 Comic-Con: 2018 X-Men film, hopefully its X-Men 5
For this year, I think we would be lucky just to get a word or an appearance from Bryan Singer teasing X-Men: Apocalypse, like a logo or something. And casting of new actors are probably just starting and that will probably take a while, so I don’t see the cast of any upcoming X-Men film doing a X-Men presentation.
