X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST has done excellent business at the worldwide box office, becoming the highest-earning X-Men film in the entire franchise with more than $748 million. But 20th Century Fox is still trying to beat one major milestone: triumphing over the $234.36 million domestic haul of Brett Ratner’s X-MEN: THE LAST STAND.
“Future Past” is so close, currently sitting at $233.66 million. A theater-expansion push made by the studio during Labor Day weekend had the film playing in over 794 locations, earning close to $600k over the four-day period. During this weekend (September 5-7) it made an estimated $160k from 312 theaters. It needs just under $700k to reach X3’s goal, but with locations declining so rapidly (again) it will be a difficult possibility.

Sooo close :p
I know! I don’t think it’s going to make it, but Apocalypse hopefully will.
Unbelievable, i do not even see how x-men 3 made that much when it wasnt even that great, wasnt a bad movie dont get me wrong but personally, i felt it only ranked about as much as the 1st x-men, x-men 4 was by far thee best film out of the last 3, director bryan singer really out-done himself with it, im still waiting for it to hit home entertainment and look forward to x-men apocolypse
