X-MEN star Hugh Jackman recently appeared on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused Podcast (listen below) and opened up about the possibility of him showing up in Bryan Singer’s upcoming X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. “I have been speaking to the guys, and I’m not at liberty to tell exactly what’s going on,” he said, “which is largely framing my answer here.”
Jackman actually already hinted at appearing in the film last April, so no surprises there, though he says “…there’s still a lot unknown about that, actually. There are some very exciting things about integrating the whole X-Men world, including the Wolverine movie. There’s some really cool things going on.”
The actor confirms that work on the follow-up to THE WOLVERINE is going well and that he’s “working on it really hard,” with writer David James Kelly and director James Mangold. “I’m very, very excited about that, actually.” he said.
