Fox Home Entertainment EVP of marketing communications, James Finn confirmed to fans via Twitter that the “Rogue Cut” of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will release in Summer 2015. The film’s alternate cut will feature Anna Paquin’s Rogue rescue sequence, among other scenes not included in the film or even its previous Blu-ray release deleted scenes. According to Finn, this new release will be a “distinct film” with “distinct extras [that are] complimentary to [the original] DOFP Blu-ray, but not repetitive.”
Finn also confirmed there won’t be a 3D Blu-ray.
Thanks to @DOFPXMen and @FrankKemp3 for getting the scoops!
