CinemaBlend and Latino Review’s Umberto Gonzalez unleashed an interesting X-MEN: APOCALYPSE scoop. According to their sources, Bryan Singer’s film will begin production on April 28th and feature cameos from Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Halle Berry’s Storm and Channing Tatum’s Gambit, who breaks off into his solo film just five months (October 7, 2016) after Apocalypse’s theatrical release on May 27, 2016.
Alexandra Shipp will portray a younger version of Berry’s Storm, so it will be pretty awesome to see both iterations on screen…if true.
Ian McKellen is also expected to cameo as Magneto, after Patrick Stewart (who will co-star in WOLV3RINE) let those details slip.
Thanks Chris Roberts for the heads up!
Yes! I was hoping for this!
Honestly I am a little bit disappointed with it. Storm and gambit cameo’s ok. But ı was expecting more from wolverine, not just a cameo…
THE ROAD TO X-MEN 5 IS SLOWLY COMING TOGETHER!
SAY WHAT NOW!
I was hoping for a supporting part for Wolverine. Especially after the ending of DOFP.
Me too. Are they going to leave his new timeline ambiguous?
Oh my gosh, I think just a cameo is plenty for the man who has been in every X-MEN movie. Time for other mutants to shine!
I guess this iis the last film in the first class trilogy. No need for the Wolverine show.
And yes, I think they are paving the way for X-MEN 5!
What are the planning? Older Storm and Magneto are making me wonder….X-Men 5????
Obviously there should be another film with the original cast given how awesome they were in their limited screentime in dofp. Technically its X5.. since it would be their fifth X-Men film together so hopefully it will be released in 2018.
