Fans all know that Professor Xavier become wheelchair bound at some point in his life, but many wondered if we’d see this play out in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS or a future film. Star James McAvoy gave the answer to IGN.
Spoiler…proceed with caution!
McAvoy says “We see [in the film] why he can no longer walk and why he is in a wheelchair. And hopefully we’ll find out why he lost his hair as well. In the comics he loses his hair when he sort of gains or discovers his powers. But obviously that is not the way they wanted to go in this case.”
Now this completly conterdicts the begining of X-Men The Last Stand.When you had a still walking Xavier still working with Magneto go to see the young Jean Grey.
I have speculated for some time they are doing a superman Returns and Ignoring both The Last Stand and Wolverine.It has been confirmed with WOlverine.Both this
and Rose Bryne’s recent comments lead me to believe I was right on this.
No Way! He can’t lose his ability to walk not until he gets older! Patrick Stewart as Professor X in X-men 3 can still walk at the beginning of the film so he can’t lose it in his younger age..

This is a lie. Actors are not supposed to talk about plots in the movies, this comment is highly suspect and we do not know at all if he ever gave this interview.
Well, X3 as been confirmated in movie crono, so, this is a lie or that scene will be remade in the film too.
All signs are pointing to The Last Stand being removed
from official film contunity.Crippling Xavier and him and
Magneto falling out In 1960’s makes the Last Stand Noncannon.Just approach First Class as prequel to X-Men
and X2.

He looses his hair in the second film and loses his walking ability later in the film. THIS WAS TOLD IN THE ARTICLE
I don;t think he should lose his legs! He should be able to walk until the sequel.
If he does lose his legs, they should make it that:
Erik and Charles are fighting and then Charles attacks Erik, then Erik lifts up a table and smashes it on Charles legs and so on…
