According to sources at Heroic Hollywood, X-Men stars James McAvoy (Professor Xavier) and Michael Fassbender (Magneto) are allegedly in the process of signing on to continue playing their characters in future films beyond next year’s X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Both actors have completed their initial 3-picture contract which began with 2011’s FIRST CLASS.
The characters, especially Xavier, are important for moving the film franchise forward with future projects focusing on the next wave of mutants.
The site also mentions that Fox is interested in bringing back Nicholas Hoult (Beast) and Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), though the latter is up in air as Lawrence has been off-and-on about her potential future involvement.

Sigh… so Fox give the original cast a big break after their 3rd film (minus Hugh Jackman) only to return for the next 4 films or DOFP (with smaller roles)….
Then these the First Class actors, after their 3rd film in the series are getting a contract renewal already. Sigh…. yeah good thinking Fox… keeping the series in the past….
Patrick Stewart >>>> James McAvoy or shall I say 30 something Professor X
Rebecca Romijn >>> Goodie good girl Raven played by Jennifer Lawrence
Kelsey Grammer >>> Whoever awkward “human” character Nicholas Hoult was playing
And geez…. could they stop bringing back Magneto??? After APocalypse, this will be his 8th film (if you count his cameo in The Wolverine)
Nope, this is their last movie. Nothing has changed.
Okay, why did fan bingbing say she signed on for 5 x-men films counting dofp? Maybe the spin-offs will be set in the present and she’ll star in those?
All actors are signed for multiple films, but those options are only fulfilled if they need them to come back. Hopefully there are plans for more present/future timeline films. We’ll have to wait and see!
