Did someone just spill the beans that The Blob will make an appearance in Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: APOCALYPSE? Apparently so, as Benjamin Malartre Bureau took to Instagram to reveal details about his time on the film’s Montreal set.
Bureau allegedly spent “four crazy days” on set, where he met Ben Hardy (Angel), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler) and Nicholas Hoult (Beast), along with “a French-Canadian dude, 540 lbs (one solid big fat guy)” that’s playing the popular mutant, The Blob.
The character last appeared in X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE as played by Kevin Durand, who used prosthetics to dramatically increase his frame. If this info is to be believed, then it looks like we’ll see a very practical Blob this time out.
