X-MEN: APOCALYPSE director Bryan Singer teased a scene featuring James McAvoy as Professor Xavier, while at work in the “cutting room” with editor/ composer John Ottman.
“Back in the cutting room with John Ottman. Teaser coming soon,” he said of the film’s heavily-anticipated teaser trailer.
Singer will rejoin cast members when production heads back to Mel Studios in Montreal for planned reshoots and pickups in January.
“They will settle in two of our studios in early January and should run for a few weeks,” said Mel Studios’ Michel Trudel to Journal de Montreal. “It’s X-Men, so this is big. They do not do things by halves.”
McAvoy recently mentioned his upcoming involvement in the reshoots “in MrachnormFebruary.” The site alleges, “…it seems that Hugh Jackman (aka Wolverine) will be on hand.”
Jackman’s involvement should be taken as a rumor until proven otherwise.
‘Apocalypse’ releases in theaters on May 27, 2016.
