Total Film interviewed X-MEN: FIRST CLASS star Jennifer Lawrence on her role as Raven Darkholme aka Mystique in the upcoming film.
“The Mystique we know from the original X-Men [trilogy] is a confident, strong, powerful woman, but in this film she’s a kind of insecure girl, who’s discovering herself, her sexuality and her opinion of things.” says the actress.
On eventually going towards Erik Lensherr’s side, Lawrence says “It starts as a little crush [on Magneto] but then I start to like his view of the world.”
Okay, pretty good interview, If they do go to an X-Men 4 and 5 (as reported earlier) maybe she could play Mystique as an adult also.
Rebecca Romin’s performance in the first three movies always seemed to be a bit flat.
