Empire Magazine has released additional photos from X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. The first is an epic cast photo with director Bryan Singer. Shown in their more colorful, more comic book-accurate costumes are Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, James McAovy as Professor X, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Evan Peters as Quicksilver and Alexandra Ship as Storm.
The following photo shows a tense moment shared between Jean and Nightcrawler, during a life-changing battle against Apocalypse and his over-powered Four Horsemen.
Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse (Isaac), the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
And still no Jubilee. Great. We’re gonna get another underwhelming cameo. I really thought Singer was gonna do right by her this time around.
Poor Jubilee. Hopefully she’ll have some cool moments in this film. I remember Bryan Singer said she wasn’t originally in the early scripts, so expecting her role to be relatively small.
Looks like Storm will be joining the team after the final battle. She’s got new garbs!
Jubilee dies.
I mean, think about it, she’s there with classes and the recent pic proves it BUT maybe she dies in the crossfire alongside Havok or something. Providing a push for the team..AND the crew in their new costumes proves that
