The latest TV spot for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE features a deleted scene featuring Kodi Smit McPhee’s Nightcrawler. It comes from the “mall sequence,” which was unfortunately removed from the film’s theatrical cut. Filmed during the first four days of production, the original scene was to feature Cyclops, Jean Grey, Jubilee and Nightcrawler hanging out out at the mall, browsing music (remember the Dazzler album cover?) and playing video games. It was also where we would’ve seen Jubilee use her power. Why it was cut is unknown, but it was likely due to tone, pacing or editing issues.

I’m am very positive that we will see these scenes in an x-men extended Blu-Ray edition. Just like they did with Rouge. Instead of a ‘Rouge Cut’ we’ll get the ‘Mall Cut’.
