X-Men film fans were treated to an extremely nice surprise this morning, as NEW MUTANTS director Josh Boone revealed the film’s teaser trailer will debut online Friday, October 13th at 12:01am (PST).
“There’s Something New To Fear,” he wrote, which might allude to the film’s tagline.
The first horror-styled film in the X-Men universe follows young mutants Dani (Blu Hunt), Illyana (Anya Taylor Joy), Rahne (Maisie Williams), Sam (Charlie Heaton) and Roberto (Henry Zaga) as they’re held in a secret facility against their will. There, they’ll have to battle the dangers of their powers, as well as the sins of their past. They aren’t out to save the world — they’re just trying to save themselves.
“New Mutants” arrives in theaters April 13, 2018.
