Last week, 20th Century Fox showed an “epic and mysterious” trailer for DARK PHOENIX at a product presentation in Saint Petersburg, Russia and now bootlegged footage from that event has leaked online. According to Trailer Track, the trailer shown is unfinished and it’s unknown if this specific edit will be released to the masses when it plays theatrically, potentially with VENOM (October 5).
As previously mentioned, Sophie Turner is set to appear on The Late Late Show with James Corden this Wednesday, September 26.
So far, the official X-Men Movie social media accounts have been quiet (besides the Chinese Weibo), so its anyone’s guess at this point.
While we won’t post the leaked footage here, you may be able to find it if you have some good detective skills. Our suggestion? Wait! Director Simon Kinberg and the studio want you to see this footage as it was intended to be seen, in HD! The bootleg is said to have no sound, is grainy, off-centered and cropped. It’s only a matter of days at this point, so hang in there!
Dark Phoenix arrives in theaters on June 7, 2019.
