20th Century Fox’s DARK PHOENIX continues its surprising decline at the box office, dropping to the #10 spot and suffering a -62.2% from last weekend. The Simon Kinberg-directed film was dropped from 1,667 domestic theaters, bringing its third weekend numbers to around $3.5 million.
On Monday (6/24), the film pulled in $450,620 and saw a rise on Tuesday (6/25) with $612,793.Dark Phoenix now stands at $61 million in the USA, making it the lowest-grossing X-Men film to date.
Internationally, the film premiered in Japan at the #3 spot with $1.7 million. Numbers for overseas markets stands at $172.8 million, bringing it current worldwide total to around $234 million.
