In its fourth of weekend of release, 20th Century Fox’s DARK PHOENIX dropped out of the top ten at the domestic box office, landing at #13. The film earned $1.7 million (a -51.2% drop from last weekend) from 1,187 theaters, bringing it’s haul in the USA to $63.6 million.
In foreign markets, it has earned $181 million, bringing its worldwide total to an estimated $244.7 million.
Dark Phoenix is the 15th highest-grossing film of 2019, thus far. Even though it was a kickass film, it remains the lowest earner and most harshly criticized film in the X-Men franchise’s 19 year history.
