Trailer release date for THE NEW MUTANTS confirmed by director Josh Boone.

Director Josh Boone confirmed the long-awaited second trailer for THE NEW MUTANTS will premiere Monday morning on January 6th! This means the preview has a likely chance of screening theatrically with 20th Century Fox’s PG-13 horror film Underwater starting January 10.

“New trailer supervised by myself, co-writer Knate Lee and color corrected by the great Peter Deming arrives January 6th,” wrote Boone. “We’re very excited to share it with you! In theaters everywhere April 3rd!”

Based on Marvel’s popular X-Men universe series, The New Mutants stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Illyana Rasputin/ Magik, Maisie Williams as Rahne Sinclair/ Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton as Sam Guthrie/ Cannonball, Blu Hunt as Mirage/ Dani Moonstar, Henry Zaga as Roberto da Costa/ Sunspot and Alice Braga as Dr. Cecilia Reyes.
