Mexican artist Orlando Arocena (@mexifunk) is no stranger to X-Men films, having created artwork for the Target-exclusive edition of DARK PHOENIX on Blu-ray. Now, he’s “having some fun” with director Josh Boone’s THE NEW MUTANTS, creating an unofficial “personal rebrand” of the logo and poster for 20th Century Studios’ upcoming horror thriller.
“I love horror movies and love the X-Men, so I pretty much have high hopes for this next New Mutants movie directed by Josh Boone based on the original Chris Claremont / Bob McLeod stories,” he writes. “Here’s my tribute & having some fun with that logo. Feel free to share. Cheers & enjoy.”
