According to Murphy’s Multiverse, actor Evan Peters, who portrayed Peter Maximoff aka Quicksilver in 20th Century Fox’s X-MEN films, has reportedly landed a “key role” in the Marvel Studios upcoming WANDAVISION Disney+ series.
“The 33-year old Peters landed the role late last year and filmed his scenes shortly after,” says the site.
Before jumping to conclusions, it’s not known which role actually he’ll play. Could his version of Quicksilver make the jump to the Marvel Cinematic Universe or is he playing a totally different character? Peters is flexible as an actor, so it’s anyone’s guess at this point.
The series is said to premiere in December 2020, unless current global events push it into 2021 due to a slew of Marvel projects having to halt productions recently due to Covid-19.
