DEADPOOL film franchise star Ryan Reynolds posted an Instagram stories photo of his merc with a mouth mask snuggly placed into a bag with no further details provided. This has led many to believe the actor is being cryptic with announcing that some sort of movement is happening on DEADPOOL 3. Or…it could just be a random photo.
Yeah right!
What we know so far, is that Bob’s Burgers’ Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin are taking over writing duties from Deadpool 1/2’s Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, for Marvel Studios’ highly-anticipated R-rated (according to Kevin Feige) film.
Realistically, the third adventure could begin filming in late 2021 or 2022 for a potential 2023 release. There’s also the huge growing possibility of Reynolds popping up in other Marvel Cinematic Universe films and Disney+ shows before his own solo outing.
When we last saw Reynolds’ Wade Wilson, the character was using Cable’s (Josh Brolin) time-travel device to…travel through time and mess with the…timeline. “What have we done…” said Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) to girlfriend Yukio (Shioli Kutsana). Well, Negasonic, you likely allowed Wade to destroy the entire 20th Century Fox mutant universe! There’s no word if any of the supporting characters, including Domino (Zazie Beets) will find their way into the MCU, especially as the X-Men have a strong chance of being fully rebooted.
Stay tuned!
