Director David Leitch’s DEADPOOL 2 (one of my favorite films) released in theaters four years ago today! Marking the special occasion comes a hilarious DEADPOOL 3 “update” from the @DeadpoolMovie official social media account:
“We’ve nailed down brand integrations. Story, character, and script next!”
The “brand integrations” referrs to the Mint Mobile t-shirt Peter (Rob Delaney) is sporting; Reynolds is majority owner of the company. Ha… 😂
Produced by Marvel Studios and Maximum Effort, Deadpool 3 will be directed by Shawn Levy (Free Guy), with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick returning as writers. The film is expected to commence production early next year with Reynolds. Peter (Delaney), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al) and Zazie Beetz (Domino) are all rumored for returns.
