Marvel Studios brought the house down at Comic-Con International in San Diego! Even though there weren’t any X-MEN or DEADPOOL announcements, the FANTASTIC FOUR (acquired from 20th Century Fox in 2019) received a locked date of November 8, 2024.
Kevin Feige proclaimed that Marvel’s Phase Four is complete after the release of Wakanda Forever (November 11), and with that came the reveal of THE MULTIVERSE SAGA continuing with Phase Five into Phase Six.
Phase Five will consist of: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (February 17, 2023), Secret Invasion (Spring 2023), Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 (May 5, 2023), Echo (Summer 2023), Loki Season 2 (Summer 2023), The Marvels (July 28, 2023), Blade (November 3, 2023), Ironheart (Fall 2023), Agatha: Coven of Chaos (Winter 2023/24), Daredevil: Born Again (Spring 2024), Captain America: New World Order (May 3, 2024), and Thunderbolts (July 26, 2024).
Teasing Phase Six with Fantastic Four, Feige revealed TWO new Avengers films: The Kang Dynasty (May 2, 2025) and Secret Wars (November 7, 2025).
The question on everyone’s minds…are there are any X-MEN projects slated for Phase Six??? Deadpool 3 is a certainty for 2024 (we’re thinking February), and one can’t help but assume 2025 is the perfect year to bring mutants into the mold. That Summer date is looking pretty nice! Or should they come AFTER the big Avengers events?
Feige is expected to reveal more about Marvel’s upcoming slate during Disney+ Day on September 8th, leading into D23 Expo , which runs from September 9-11.
