Speaking with GQ, Daniel Radcliffe responded to rumors that he’s in the running to star as Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. These rumors sprang from fan castings on social media, noting how Radcliffe has the right features and talent for the legendary role.
“It’s purely a press tour rumor; I say something, and then occasionally I get bored of answering that way so I say something different, and that sets it off again,” he said. “I should just never open my mouth.
“I just don’t ever want to get locked into something that I am not sure I will be able to love the same amount the whole time,” he continued.
Hugh Jackman isn’t quite done with the role yet, as he’s set to return as Wolverine in DEADPOOL 3 and maybe even AVENGERS: SECRET WARS.
Radcliffe stars in Roku Original Weird: The Al Yankovic Story starting November 4.
