While attending the premiere for his upcoming film ‘The Son,’ star Hugh Jackman spoke with AP Entertainment about his return as the legendary Wolverine for DEADPOOL 3. Jackman is prepping for his Marvel Studios debut, which goes in front of cameras early next year.
“I’m gonna have the time of my life. I started back at the gym and I’m eating a lot. I feel bad for the cast of ‘Music Man’ with the amount of protein shakes I’m having,” he joked. “It’s a lot of fun. Its been five years [since LOGAN] and I really never thought I’d come back. I’m really really excited about it.”
“Actually I do know a bit about the script, but I’m not gonna tell you,” he teased. “He’s definitely the angrier, sort of a bit grumpy, and he’s gonna take a lot of free shots at Ryan Reynolds, let me tell you — physically, that is.”
Arriving in cinemas on November 8, 2024, Deadpool 3 is under the leadership of director Shawn Levy, with OG writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick returning. Besides Reynolds and Jackman, there are no confirmed cast members, although Leslie Uggams appears to be returning as Wade Wilson’s mentor, Blind Al. Zazie Beetz and Josh Brolin are also rumored to appear as Domino and Cable.
