Black Panther

Attending the Golden Globes, Damson Idris (F1) was asked by Variety about rumors of him being cast as Marvel Studios next Black Panther. “I am thankful to the fans,” he said re: online chatter. “Of course it’s a rumor, but I love that movie. I love that world.”

Power Rangers

Disney is already diving into its take on the Power Rangers franchise, with several big names being considered for key roles. According to The DisInsider, Peyton Elizabeth Lee, who has a solid relationship with Disney through her roles in Doogie Kamealoha M.D., Secret Society of Second Born Royals, and Prom Pact, is reportedly at the top of the list for a lead ranger role, barring any scheduling conflicts. While Mason Thames, fresh off a successful 2025 with How to Train Your Dragon and Black Phone 2, is rumored to be a potential cast member, though nothing has been confirmed. Additionally, Priyanka Chopra, who could be eyed to play the villain Rita Repulsa, is said to be on the studio’s wishlist, though this has not been verified. Other potential cast members include Shaun Dixon, Paris Bravo, Judd Goodstein, Momoma Tamada, Christian Alexander Cruz, and Kira McLean. The series will be written, produced, and showrun by Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz, the team behind Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Invincible

Nia DaCosta (The Marvels, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple) revealed on Reddit during an Ask Me Anything that she’s interested in bringing Invincible to the big screen.

“I would LOVE to direct a live action film version of Robert Kirkman’s Invincible,” she wrote. “The comic and cartoon are amazing. I know exactly how I’d want to translate that world, and that amazing father/son relationship, to screen. I also just love the idea of making something in a superhero world that has some real grit and viscera–and sex!

USA Today has revealed a new look at Supergirl star Milly Alcock in costume, giving a better look at the details of the DC superhero’s costume. The film arrives in theaters June 26, 2026.

According to scooper Jeff Sneider via The Hot Mic, Marvel Studios upcoming Blade reboot with Mahershala Ali is “dead,” with the character erumored to make his live-action debut in another project — Midnight Sons. That Marvel title typically features characters like Doctor Strange, Elsa Bloodstone,Man-Thing, Werewolf by Night, Doctor Voodoo, Wong, Agatha Harkness, Ghost Rider, Magik, Nico Minoru, and Mephisto, among others.

The Batman Part II

Deadline first reported that Sebastian Stan (Thunderbolts*) is in talks to appear alongside formerMCU co-star Scarlet Johansen in director Matt Reeves’ The Batman Part II. The roles are believed to be for Harvey Dent (Two Face) and his wife Gilda Dent, who’s said to have a bigger role in the film.

Crime 101

It’s not a superhero movie, but it’s filled with super actors! Comic book movie stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffulo (Hulk), Halle Berry (Storm), and Barry Koeghen (The Eternals’ Druig, Joker) headline Crime 101 from Amazon MGM Studios.
