Marvel has released the official trailer for The Punisher: One Last Kill, giving a first look at what’s shaping up to be a dark and emotionally charged return for Frank Castle. Premiering May 12 as a Marvel Television Special Presentation on Disney+, the project brings the vigilante back into the spotlight. Jon Bernthal once again steps into the role, delivering the intensity that we’ve come to expect from his portrayal.

The special is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, who also co-wrote the script alongside Bernthal. That creative partnership has shaped a story that focuses less on spectacle and more on the psychological weight of Castle’s choices. The trailer hints at a more reflective narrative that questions whether redemption is within reach for someone who has lived so long in the shadows of violence.

The supporting cast includes Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle, along with Roe Rancell as Dennis, Mila Jaymes as Charli, and Judith Light as Ma Gnucci. At least one cast member, Bernthal, will later appear in Sony and Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day this Summer.

As the May 12 release date quickly approaches, The Punisher: One Last Kill is looking like it will deliver a powerful new chapter in Marvel’s television lineup.
