Marvel Studios’ untitled X-Men reboot may be gearing up to begin production at the dawn of the new year. A new report from Deadline, published in an article eXamining the current trajectory of Sadie Sink’s career, indicates that the highly anticipated MCU film is scheduled to begin filming at the start of 2027.
The article notes that Sink, who portrays Jean Grey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will reprise the role in the upcoming X-Men movie, “which begins production at the top of the year.” While the brief mention does not provide an exact start date, it points to production likely getting underway in January-March.

Although Marvel Studios has yet to formally announce a production start date, Deadline’s mention offers a good indication of the project’s current timeline.
