“Mariko Yashida” actress Tao Okamoto was spotted, in costume, alongside THE WOLVERINE star Hugh Jackman, while preparing to film at a railway station district in Hiroshima. Jackman is seen wearing the same outfit from the funeral scene filmed days ago at Zojoji temple in Tokyo, minus his tie, with shirt untucked.
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, the film finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.

Does this movie set in the contemporary setting ? It would seem strange for someone to be wearing kimono on the street !
This is supposed to take place mid-20th Century , perhaps the late 1980’s.
