X-MEN producer Lauren Shuler Donner recently spoke with Crave Online about X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, saying the movie was moving “not quite fast enough, but it’s coming along. We have a great treatment and we’re just waiting for the screenplay.”
Shuler Donner confirmed that “Huger Games” star, Jennifer Lawrence, who plays the shape-shifting Mystique, is “definitely” returning.
With the massive success of “Marvel’s The Avengers,” could an unprecedented team-up be in the cards?
“I would love it. I would love it.” she says. “I personally have close ties to Marvel because of Kevin Feige, because Kevin worked for me. But to take our characters and mingle them in the way that they were written, yeah, absolutely.”

Jennifer back for next X-Men Movie. Great. X-Men/Avengers crossover movie. If there is a good story. Yes. It would be a co-production between the Donner Company, Marvel Studios, 20th Century Fox and Disney studios.
I actually would like to see an X-Men,Avengers team up movie. This would show the staying power of Marvel’s heroes, and shame DC into still revealing how they can not get a JLA film made.
