“The Wolverine” films in Sydney suburb, dressed-up as Tokyo.

Herald Sun — THE WOLVERINE crew transformed the streets of Parramatta, Sydney into Tokyo, for filming taking place in the coming days. “I’m excited and proud Parramatta has been chosen as a stage for The Wolverine,” said Lord Mayor, John Chedid. “As well as generating jobs and investment, productions like ‘The Wolverine boost our tourism and visitor economy by raising the city’s profile around the world.”

Hugh Jackman was spotted filming on-location, along with Tao Okamoto, and their stunt doubles. The scene being shot involves Logan and Mariko being pursued by assassin’s. At some point the couple is hit by a car, while Logan carries Mariko.
