Digital Spy caught up with X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST director Bryan Singer, who spoke about the film, shooting in 3D, and the dynamic relationship between Magneto and Charles Xavier.
“I have a certain style when I approach the ‘X-Men’ films.” says Singer. “This one is going to be a much larger canvas. It takes place during multiple times and there’s an enormous cast and there’s also other technologies and stuff. There’s some science fiction aspects to it that we haven’t seen yet in ‘X-Men’ films. I’ll probably bring a bit of my old-school tone to this one. I’m very excited about this one [and ready] to get started.”
Regarding filming it 3D, Singer says “It’s going to be in 3D, we’re shooting in 3D [because] I think it’s important to shoot in native 3D and not post-dimensionalize it. For some scenes you can do that, but to be able to control your depth [is important].”
On exploring the relationship between both Magneto’s and Charles Xaiver, he says “We deal with both [Magneto’s] because I have both Ian Mckellen and Michael Fassbender. In the picture you’ll deal with both sides [and their] point of view and it really explores the relationship between Xavier and Magneto and the and the evolution of that relationship, where it came from and where it’s going.”

Production is picking up, But I’m sure the 3D part of it is more hype.
I think it would be best if i see the movie both in 3d and 2d..
this movie is going to rock!
