Lehigh Valley recently spoke with “Iceman” actor Shawn Ashmore, who says that fans can expect an “intense” storyline in Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.
“Some of our characters in the film are facing a far, dark future and that continues with Bobby as well,” Ashmore says during a recent break of filming in Canada. “He’s changed from who you saw in X3. It’s an intense storyline and pretty exciting.
“What’s so great about being part of a franchise is every couple of years, or in our case, every five or six years, you get to come back and work with the filmmakers and actors. I just turned 19 when I shot the first movie,” he adds. “I was still a teenager, but it feels like a lifetime ago. Everyone’s grown up.
“Bryan has grown as a filmmaker as well, so it’s really exciting. I trust him completely, with the stories and the characters. It was a no-brainer to come back and watch him tell the story he wants to tell.”
I think this gave me the idea of the whole XDOFP..
My theory is after the event of X3 and during the event of The Wolverine.. The x-men somewhat disbanded and turned into different path that leads them to a dark part of their life and then let’s say Professor X tried to bring them back from the past timeline to prevent it.
This make a sense if the mutants got separated in every team. the Past Team. Future Team and Present Team. This is to fix every timeline that might cause Sentinels invasion in the future.
