A new official still from X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST has been released! The photo features Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy aka Beast, James McAvoy as Charles Xavier and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the underground workings of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. We previously got a BTS look at this scene from an earlier tweet from director Bryan Singer.

Weird how futuristic the look of the subbasement is, when the film is supposed to be in the 70s.
I was thinking the same thing. And from the teaser trailer, Charles blows a dust from the helmet which seems that it was already built and didn’t use it for a long time.
I can’t say that its a parallel timeline which they used the advance futuristic Cerebro.. Maybe the appearance of the cerebro is just the same from both timelines..
Wondering if in those 10 years Charles and Erik made up and became enemies again. Was hoping Magneto’s line about helping Charles build Cerebro would remain in continuity, but we’ll see.
Yeah! That I’m trying to figure that out too. When Cerebro appears in XFC and it was built by Hank, the line in X2 echoes in my head. Now I was thinking how Eric and Charles build the final cerebro if they were enemies?
Even the Sentinels look way too advance. Will have to suspend my belief a bit for this movie.

Lol I like the idea of wood paneling… would have been perfect for the 70’s. 🙂 I was surprised when I saw that they would be using the original design for the past scenes.
