Radar Online is reporting a RUMOR that Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult want to call it quits playing Mystique and Beast, respectively. According to their source, the two “feel they are prisoners of the X-Men movies and the director, Bryan Singer.” They were allegedly “caught by surprise [and] shocked to see [X-MEN APOCALYPSE] announced for 2016. Now they have to reshuffle their plans in order to accommodate a June shoot.”
Radar’s source continues that “Jennifer especially is losing millions of dollars by doing these movies when she could have her pick of juicy parts. She knows 20th Century Fox, which produces the movies, is going to throw a lot of money at her to keep her involved in the franchise, but she’s ready to move on. They are not fun movies for her to make, and the only thing she likes about them is hanging out with some of those other actors–especially her boyfriend, Nicholas!”
The one supposed note of relief? Lawrence and Hoult know that another film “will mark the end, since they each signed three-film contracts they signed in 2010.”

wow.. sure hope this isn’t true… I like Jennifer Lawrence as a personality but this would be a QUICK way to turn me against her..
There are a few pieces of this story that dont’ make sense anyway.. First, saying that JLaw is missing out on millions, and then talking about how Fox would give her huge amounts…. also it’s not like she doesn’t like doing uber blockbusters… i.e. 4 Hunger Games movies.
And then there’s the part with Hoult.. I mean Bryan Singer was there for him with First Class and then got him in Jack the Giant Slayer too…
Sure hope this isn’t true because I want to like these guys, and i don’t want troubles for my future xmen movies!!

I don’t give a fuck about this, I’m my opinion Bryan Singer fucked the series with the prequels when he could picked up after x-men 3 he could made someone return to the past and change something in X-Men 3 and altered it, but he gave us X-men First Class which I like, but what about the old cast.. I whant to see a X-men 4 whit the original cast. Or they could gave back the right to Marvel/Disney.
One prequel was enough, They should stop after this one and create a X-men 4.

‘Apocalypse’ is the last movie their contracted for, and the last movie that’s likely to focus on the ‘First Class’ cast. Beyond that, neither of these two strike me as being particularly concerned with money which the report suggests is their major motivation for wanting out.
Jennifer is very much drawn to doing smaller, more independent fair, and I suspect after she’s finished with ‘The Hunger Games’ and The ‘X-Men’ franchises, that’s what we’ll be seeing her in for the most part. At least for a while.Hardly the way to go if you’re looking for a big payday.
This is all speculation, based on both actors’ rising status (particularly Jennifer’s).

I doesn’t make sense, if she signed a contract for 3 movies, why she is “surprised” by Apocalypse?
Also, why she didn’t complained about Huhger Games? she will also have to do more three movies, wich are high budget movies, and her responsability is much bigger, given that she is the main character…
I think people are really trying to make Singer look an asshole. He is somethimes, with some bad movies, but people exagerate. Now it’s like he is being a tormentor…
Rebecca Romain and Kelsey Grammer can always come back and play the parts. Heck right now everything is just rumor.
