X-Men fans on Twitter are chatting up a storm after Fox Home Entertainment’s executive VP of marketing communications, James Finn tweeted that the extended cut of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will come NEXT YEAR after the September 23rd Digital HD and October 14th in-store release of the film on Blu-ray and DVD. It’s pretty obvious that Rogue’s ten-minute sequence will be edited back into the film, along with other scenes, so many are wondering if this means we’ll have to wait ’til next year to watch the footage. Finn says details will come soon.
Thanks to @R_0_B_89 and @Ranker_Comics for the heads up!

I’m very curious about this.
The movie seems to be quite precisely constructed, so it’ll be interesting to see whether the film works in this X-Tended form.
It’s likely though, that that is what’s delaying it until next year. It’s so that Singer and Ottman can find a cut that works.
Interesting.
Ok i can wait; i need to know if this cut will contain rogue sequence; if isnt i dont care the extended cut
Not extended more like an alternate cut
They should call it the “Alternate Timeline Edition”
I like that idea!
I just need the movie with Rogue’s scene in it and some deleted scenes. It should be running 3 hours long.. That’s what we all want for.. and Why it took so long to release it.. I thought it was all done already..
That is what everbody wants! Just one word: ROGUE thats all fox thanks
Im willing to wait for that long as long as Rogue’s scene is going to be epic and if possible the extended edition will be like a new story for XDOFP..
More Rogue!
