Bryan Singer posted this photo of himself with writers Simon Kinberg (Days of Future Past), Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty (X2) during a writing session for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. The team has been hard at work outlining the screenplay for the upcoming film which releases on May 27, 2016. The film will follow the X-Men as they try to prevent an extinction-level event started by the ancient mutant known as En Sabah Nur and his Four Horsemen.
Interestingly, the photo shows “Age of Apocalypse” artwork from the popular Marvel Comics storyline on a writer’s laptop. It will be exciting to see how they incorporate elements from the source material into the film.
