X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Blu-Ray update: The Cerebro Collection + info on deleted scenes!

Amazon UK is offering an exclusive “X-Men: Cerebro Helmet Complete Collection” which is available on November 10th! This special edition set includes a model Cerebro helmet and the complete X-Men movie collection, which comprises of X-Men, X-Men 2, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men: First Class, The Wolverine, and X-Men: Days of Future Past (in Blu-ray 3D and 2D).

Thanks to Retroman over at the Superhero Hype Boards, we’ve learned that the Japanese Blu-ray (due November 5th) will contain five deleted scenes:

  • Farewell to Logan (1:37)
  • Logan attacks Hank (0:55)
  • Nixon’s Tape Recorder (1:25)
  • Sentinels Cancelled (1:40)
  • Logan Recovered (1:23)

Notably absent is Rogue’s nearly 10-minute sequence and a host of other known deleted scenes. It was previously reported that Fox Home Entertainment plans to release an “Extended Alternate Cut” of the film in 2015, so it seems like we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see Magneto, Iceman and Professor X save Rogue from imprisonment inside the X-Mansion.

In other news, Walmart-exclusive editions of the Blu-ray (due October 14th in the USA) will come packed with a reprint of Marvel Comics’ original “Days of Future Past” storyline featured in Uncanny X-Men #141-142.
