Charles Xavier actor Patrick Stewart tells Larry King Now (via Yahoo Movies) that Ian McKellen and himself will most likely not appear in Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. “No. Nor Sir Ian McKellen, either. I was learning quite a lot more about it last night, and it is going to be looking very much at the earlier lives of all our characters. And so I don’t think we’ll be making an appearance.”
Set for release on May 27, 2016, the film primarily takes place in 1983 and completes the trilogy arc which began with Matthew Vaughn’s FIRST CLASS in 2011.
