It appears that Hugh Jackman’s third WOLV3RINE outing will take place in the altered future timeline as Patrick Stewart’s Professor Xavier is slated to appear in the film. Just days ago, Stewart told The Oregonian:
“What I’m very excited about is that we have been talking about a Wolverine movie, which would team Hugh Jackman and myself together. Wolverine and Professor Xavier. That would be a very different sort of “X-Men” from the four movies that I’ve already done.”
What does Jackman have to say about this reveal from Stewart? “I’m not going to deny it,” he tells JoBlo.com. “I’ve learned over the years to try and put my best poker face on. By the way, play poker with me if you want to win some money, because I’m terrible. But, I’ve always seen it as a really important relationship, and we started with that and I think it’s a really important one. I think it would be really great to see it in the Wolverine movie, because we haven’t really explored it in the standalone Wolverine movies. So it’s not not not not not going to happen.”
Since we’re back in the future, might there be other X-Men cameos? Rogue could sure use the screentime.
The film hits theaters on March 3, 2017.

It gonna be awesome. My two favorite characters as the single main actors together in one movie. Played by my two favorite actors… 2017 cannot come soon enough. Plus Mangold at the helm. WOW!!!
