Promoting his upcoming ‘Victor Frankenstein’ film for 20th Century Fox, X-MEN: APOCALYPSE star James McAvoy let loose, telling Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens Live’ that earlier interpretations of Jubilee’s powers made her his least favorite character, power-wise.
“Fireworks out of your fingers kind of suck,” he said of the character, referencing her power display in the X-Men animated series. In ‘Apocalypse’ though, he says Jubilee (played by newcomer Lana Condor) will be featured more as a “mistress of electricity.”
When asked who was playing the role, McAvoy (embarrassingly) couldn’t remember Condor’s name. The actress previously told Anthem Magazine that most of her scenes were with Sophie Turner (Jean Grey) and Tye Sheridan (Cyclops).
