LOGAN continues to do well at the box office. But will the film have legs?

LOGAN continues to do impressive numbers at the box office. In its second weekend, the film dropped to number two on the charts, earning $38.1 million from over 4,071 domestic theaters. That’s a 56.9% drop from its debut weekend, which is pretty standard for most films.

So far, the film has earned $152.9 million in the USA.

With fantastic reviews and good word-of-mouth, it’ll be interesting to see if Hugh Jackman’s final go as Wolverine will have legs in the weeks to come. Does the film have a high re-watch value for the general public? It’s pretty emotional and violent, so we’ll have to wait and see on that.

For comparison, DEADPOOL dropped 57.4% during its second weekend, so ‘Logan’ is doing quite well.

Internationally, its the #1 release of 2017, earning an estimated $70.3 million from 79 markets. Its foreign total is around $285.6 million, making the worldwide numbers around $438.3 million.

‘Logan’ is awaiting release in Japan on June 1.
