Director Josh Boone presented NEW MUTANTS content to an audience today.

Josh Boone instagrammed that he presented something related to his upcoming NEW MUTANTS film this year. “Step 1: Throw up. Step 2: Talk to all these people,” he wrote with the hashtags “#newmutants #fox.” Though further details weren’t provided, the photo shows a bunch of people inside a theater, possibly on 20th Century Fox’s lot. These people might be either entertainment press, studio employees or maybe even a test audience?

It appears a teaser trailer does exist, thanks to a tweet from Jeff Sneider. Maybe that was shown to the audience, along with a Q&A session? Who knows!

No word when we’ll get our first look at footage, but the best hint usually comes when the trailer has been officially classified and on public record.
