Hugh Jackman prepares for a cameo in…something. Is it Wolverine related?

Legendary Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman posted a video of himself at the gym building some muscle for an apparent “cameo” in something, though he didn’t expand on what it’s actually for.

“Gym Heckler. #dogpound #Bri #cameo,” he tweeted without further explanation. Looks like the Jack is shedding a few pounds due to feasting on Bri? Of course, speculation began to run across fandom that despite his “one last time” stance on playing the character in LOGAN, maybe he’s had a change of heart for an appearance in a film like DARK PHOENIX or (even crazier, but way less likely) Disney’s AVENGERS: ENDGAME?

There’s no proof towards any of these theories, but with Disney’s upcoming acquisition of 20th Century Fox looming and Dark Phoenix looking to possibly be the final mainline X-Men film in this series, some wonder if it’s possible the studio has wooed him back to close out the franchise one last, last time.

Would Jackman really be so nonchalant about filming a cameo though? Seems like it’d be something everyone would want to keep a secret, so it’s always possible he’s just trolling everyone.
