In its first week in theaters, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, budgeted at around $140 million (after tax breaks), made back its production costs thanks to a $144 million box office haul worldwide. So far the film has pulled in $69 million domestically and $74 million internationally.
The film continues to receive positive word-of-mouth, receiving a 86% “fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the second best reviewed X-Men film ever.
Early estimates give a $27 million total (50% drop) for weekend 2.

Yeah, in previous film, professor X said that he built the Cerebro with the help of magneto.
That is why I didn’t like the film MUCH

so they will obviously need to build a new one and magneto can help cause they still friends at the end of this film just because they separated doesn’t mean their automatically enemies their still friends
So what… they will probably build a new one in Xavier’s mansion.
So far there are only two plot points which do not correspond entirely with the established continuity: Magneto’s helmet (in X1 Charles was surprised that Magneto could fence of his telepathy) and Charles being paralysed… I wonder how they will this out.

Those are solid numbers… The drop of 50 % was to be expected… nevertheless it is a good sign that word of mouth has taken over, and people have continued interest in this film. It should end up somewhere north of 150 million at the domestic BO and at some 160 million at the international BO, which would be a 300 million + worldwide.
That may sound a little disappointing, but consider that BATMAN BEGINS did only marginally better and remember what THE DARK KNIGHT did.
Since FIRST CLASS is considered by critics as the Marvel equivalent of the Nolan BATMAN reboot, a sequel will make much more money.
