Celebrating X-Men Films And Beyond

X-Men: First Class Box Office: Weekend 3

In its third weekend in theaters, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS brought in $11.5 million at the domestic box office, giving it a #4 placement on the charts. Warner Bros’ GREEN LANTERN debuted with $52.7 million, coming behind First Class’ $55.1 million debut total. While the film isn’t performing as well as previous X-Men outings, it continues to receive positive word-of-mouth and continues to hold its own against other superhero films, which ALL have the added benefit of inflated 3D ticket costs.

So far the film has brought in $119.9 million domestically and $162 million internationally, giving the film a $282 worldwide haul. The film has already made back double its budget, listed at $140 million (after tax breaks).

Stay tuned later this week for box office updates, and keep your eyes locked on the box office tracker on the left sidebar for the latest numbers.
