Director Josh Boone’s THE NEW MUTANTS has been in theaters for four weekends now and remained at the #2 spot on domestic box office charts. Playing in 2,518 theaters, the final X-Men entry from 20th Century Studios dropped just -23.4% from last weekend, bringing in $1.6 million (Friday at $470k, Saturday at $725k and Sunday at an estimated $405k). Internationally, the film has around $17.3 million which makes its current worldwide total at $35 million.
To compare with other films in this Covid-19 world, Warner Bros. Tenet remained at #1 with $4.7 million, Cloudburst Entertainment’s Infidel is at #3 with $1.5 million, and Solstice Studios’ Unhinged is at #4 with $1.3 million.
